Executive Chef Seth Groseclose
My culinary roots began in the kitchens of the matriarchs of my Southern family. Memories of abundant meals featuring fresh vegetables, cast iron, lard, and corn meal sent me down the path towards becoming a chef.
After a few chain restaurants gigs early on, I found a home at the Beach Bistro with Sean Murphy. It was there that I learned what fine dining truly means. My years at the Bistro afforded me great culinary experiences and relationships with amazing chefs. Our Beach Bistro Team had the honor of the invitation to prepare and serve the famous James Beard Dinner in 2007 to members of the James Beard Foundation and invited special guests – a highlight of my career for this self-taught southern Chef.
I have traveled and worked with renowned restauranteurs such as the Myriad group featuring Tribeca Grill, Montrachet, and Coach House on Martha’s Vineyard under Chef Ryan Hardy. My next experience took me to live and work in Belfast, Northern Ireland, under Michelin Star Chef Paul Rankin.
The roads I have traveled led me back home to Bradenton where I was raised. My good fortune has brought me once again to an amazing opportunity working with Chef Rich Knowles and the Innovative Dining team. I look forward to building our brand and feeding folks for years to come.
